Project: “United in Diversity”

The project focuses on the cultural heritage of the Roma ethnic minority, interweaving the participation of two other minority groups – Jews and Armenians, in order to show the “coexistence” of minority cultures alongside that of the majority – Bulgarian culture.

Project: “Platforms for young art talents”

The project aims to increase access to the culture of culture and ethnic minorities (with a focus on Roma) and strengthen their engagement by an integrated set of innovative cultural and educational events, exhibitions and digital documentation of cultural history with a focus on Roma culture.

Project: “Dance with Me!”

Summary:
The project aims to improve access to arts and culture of ethnic and cultural minorities (Roma focus) and to meet the needs of children and young people from Family-type accommodation centres by including them in a cultural and educational initiative for dance art and an innovative approach for present and promote an ethnocultural event with the participation of various specialists and artists, young artists, children, and youth (with a focus on Roma).

Project: „Inform – Investigate – Protect: Fighting Violence Against Women (PROTECT)“

The project is aimed at increasing the capacity of the Bulgarian authorities in the field of combating domestic violence and violence against women. Part of the activities of the project envisages the implementation of a targeted campaign to meet representatives of the judiciary with representatives of Roma communities to formulate common goals and priorities in the fight against domestic violence.

Project: „Children Path“

The “Children Path” project will prepare and introduce a specialized new service aimed at children – victims of violence, at risk or witnesses of crimes, with a special focus on children from the Roma community.

Photo campaign “Stronger than words”

Fine Acts opened the photography campaign “Stronger than words”, in which they photographed 54 people who send an important message with a smile. 54 people, representatives of the groups most affected by hate speech in Bulgaria, as well as their like-minded people, bravely stand with their face against hatred.

Boldness determined by spirituality

“…the people from “Fakulteta” and whichever other Roma neighborhood it may be, are not distinguished by their desires from everyone else – they want their home comfort and their dignity in life. And they achieve it somehow and in spite of everything – most of the young people and those of middle age are abroad because there are more job opportunities, because the pay is better, because they feel more valued there and last but not least because it is such conditions that create the ground for dreams.”
