Project summary:
It is planned to open a complex of 3 centers located in 3 socially isolated communities in the villages of Kaloyanovets, Khan Asparuhovo and Bratya Kunchevi. The complex will offer integrated services – healthcare, social and educational, work with parents and stakeholders. The implementation of this project proposal will support the efforts of Stara Zagora Municipality for social inclusion and improving the well-being of vulnerable communities and will develop and introduce a systematic approach to early childhood intervention with special emphasis on children aged 0-6 and individuals who take care of them. The partnership with the Bulgarian NGO World Without Borders Association, which works in the field of Roma social inclusion, education and healthcare, will also contribute to achieving the goals of the project. The main goal of the project is to provide comprehensive educational, social and health care in early childhood in Stara Zagora municipality, through which the conditions for the implementation of social inclusion of vulnerable groups will be optimized. Through complex activities based on research of the needs of the target groups and analysis of the needs of the local communities, the improvement of the well-being and social inclusion of children 0-6 years of age of Roma origin and their families will be achieved. The planned activities aim to create conditions for social inclusion and inclusion of vulnerable groups, personal development and acquisition of new knowledge and skills, psychological, educational, health and counseling support for children and parents of ethnic minorities inhabiting the municipality of Stara Zagora. It is planned to develop, introduce and sustainably implement a systematic approach to early childhood intervention.
