Summary:
The overall objective of the project is to support the development and introduction of effective integrated approaches aimed at improving the status and capabilities of children in contact with the law. The project contributes increasing the access and quality of specialized services, with a special focus of children from the Roma community. The implementation of the activities promotes the active participation of the Roma community and cooperation with local institutions and stakeholders.
Expected results: A functioning coordination unit at the local level for the protection of children at risk; Promotion of the contribution of the Kingdom of Norway through the EEA FM grants 2014-2021, as well as financial support. Attracting the interest of target groups; Increased capacity of local authorities – specialists from municipal administration, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, teams of project specialists and representatives of the partner, in the field of justice for children; Conducted local awareness raising workshop on Juvenile Justice; Publicity measures implemented.
