Project summary: 
The project aims at enhancing the capacity of the Bulgarian police for reaction in cases of gender-based and domestic violence (DGBV). The project will also contribute towards the elaboration of effective policies related to the fight against human rights violations and will improve the situation of the Roma population.

The activities under the project will focus on prevention, risk analysis, support of victims and gathering information on domestic violence and gender-based violence in Roma communities. In order to define the current situation and improve the level of trust in the police on part of the citizens of Roma origin, surveys will be conducted at the beginning and the end of the project.
