Project: „Specialized services for children from roma communities in conflict or contact with the law“

The project aims to introduce and develop an effective integrated approach aimed at improving the status and opportunities of children in contact with the law in three Roma communities in Bulgaria – Pazardzhik, Plovdiv and Lom. Specialized services “Center for counseling and legal assistance for children” will be developed and implemented in the three regions.

Project: „RE-ACTION through information against domestic violence and gender-based violence“

The project focuses on vulnerable groups of children and women from Roma communities, as well as teachers, specialists and employers who communicate and work with them on a daily basis.

Report: Combatting discrimination through enhanced access to justice in Croatia and Bulgaria

In Bulgaria and Croatia, Roma routinely experience discrimination, usually fuelled by negative attitudes and prejudices, in a variety of areas of their lives from an early age. Despite the high number of well documented occurrences, incidents of discrimination typically go unreported. Roma often think that it is not worth reporting their case as it would not change anything, while others fear that the situation would only become worse. See more.
